A reimagined classic, reborn with even more drama and shape. The Guinevere II Bodice is the evolution of a pattern I first discovered back in high school—when I triumphantly stitched it up for myself and then immediately vowed, "one day, I will make this better." That day has come. After countless mockups, design tweaks, and trials with a long-lost vintage pattern found in the depths of eBay, the Guinevere II has emerged with elegance, structure, and a touch of courtly flair. ⚔️ Construction & Features: Steel-Boned Strength : Built with spring steel boning in the back seam and front-laced with an extended 10" fiberglass busk (yes— that’s what gives it that sculpted, upright finish). Period-Inspired Shoulder Wings : The upper bodice flares into soft structured “wings” over the shoulders, with a wide fold-over collar that frames the neck and decolletage like a royal portrait. The length of this bodice is a bit shorter than my most Petite patterns in the shop right now. The whole entire length of the side seams is about 9.5" from armpit to bottom hem. 🌿 Sizing Notes: If you're in between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort and adjustability. Whether you’re aiming for forest queen, Renaissance royalty, or just a really good Tuesday outfit—this piece is ready for you.
